Cash flow

Your agency's cash flow, account by account

The cash flow of the management software for travel agencies.

Every cash box, bank account, wallet or card carries its balance in its own currency. Payments from passengers and payments to operators land in their account on their own, and the agency's expenses are recorded in the same place.

How much money the agency has, and how much belongs to operators

Real balances per account, what came in and went out in the period, and what is already committed.

Accounts like the ones you really use

You create the agency's accounts (Cash, Bank, Wallet or Card), each in a single currency, with its opening date and that day's balance. When you record a collection or an operator payment you pick which account the money went into or left from.

  • Cash, Bank, Wallet and Card
  • One currency per account
  • Collections and payments with their account

A summary per currency

Balance, Inflows and Outflows for the period, how the balance evolved, and Inflows and outflows: passenger collections, other income, operator payments, agency expenses and other outflows. Transfers and currency exchanges between accounts are shown separately, because they are neither income nor expense.

  • Balance, Inflows and Outflows
  • How the balance evolved
  • Transfers apart, no inflated totals

The net position, alongside the balance

Position adds the balance in accounts and what passengers still owe, and subtracts what is still owed to operators. The "Of your balance" bar separates the money that belongs to operators from what is really available.

  • Balance + receivable − payable
  • Operators' money and available
  • One position per currency

Movements that read like a bank statement

Every movement with its date, detail, account, who recorded it, Credit, Debit and the running Balance. You filter by movement type and by account, search by passenger, booking, operator or description, and export to Excel or PDF.

Transfers and buying or selling dollars

Moving money from cash to the bank is a transfer. Buying or selling dollars is a currency exchange between a peso account and a dollar account, with its rate. Neither counts as income or expense.

  • Transfers between accounts
  • Currency exchange with its rate
  • No inflated income or expense

Expenses and other movements, by category

The agency's expenses live here, together with other income and outflows, in nine categories: Agency expense, Taxes, Partner withdrawal and Shortage adjustment go out; Partner contribution, Operator commission, Interest, Surplus adjustment and Other income come in. Every movement is kept in the change history.

  • Nine categories
  • Expenses, taxes and withdrawals
  • With change history
